HSE Advisor FTC - #2122899

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join their team in Sheffield on an intial 6 month FTC.

This is a hands-on HSE role supporting the site leadership team and helping to drive high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across the business. Any candidates applying must be able to start with limited to no notice.

• Coordinate the site's HSE activities, risk assessments and improvement plans.
• Maintain HSE policies, procedures, Contractor Control and Permit to Work systems.
• Lead HSE inspections, audits and external ISO 45001 audits.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, including RIDDOR reporting and corrective actions.
• Keep on top of changes to HSE legislation and close compliance gaps.
• Coordinate HSE training, inductions and competency records.
• Manage Fire Safety and Radiation Protection on site.
• Support occupational health, PPE/RPE, welfare and insurance requirements.
• Drive continual HSE improvement across the site and support the wider Sheffield operation.

We're looking for an experienced HSE professional with:

• NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent desirable.
• Strong experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, investigations and HSE compliance.
• The confidence to work with everyone from shop floor to senior management.
• ISO 45001 auditing experience
