Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.
- Lead tender processes and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms for the organisation.
- Monitor and analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain processes and systems.
- Provide guidance and expertise on procurement best practices to the wider team.
Profile
A successful Snr. Procurement Specialist should have:
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools.
- A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management is desirable.
Job Offer
- Permanent position based in Sheffield.
- Salary between £55,000 and £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
