Finance Officer

Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement 

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 41 weeks

Unique School Solutions are supporting an SEND School in Sheffield to appoint a Finance Officer. You will be undertaking financial tasks in accordance with school policies using the schools finance systems, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role is to start in Autumn 2026 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

- Previous experience in financial admin, ideally in a school setting

- Familiar with school finance software systems

- Able to track budgets, process invoices and purchase orders

- Excellent communication skills

- High level of numeracy and ICT skills
