Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - #2125229

Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with a manufacturing company based in the Sheffield area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit team!

Salary: £38,000

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Monday to Thursday- 6.15am till 4.30pm

Duties of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Attending to PPM’s and breakdowns on a daily basis
• Assisting electrical engineer as and when needed
• Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
• Inspection testing, installations as and when needed
• Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
• Certification of all new and existing installations to regulations
• Retesting and certifying presses to HSG236 regulations
• Using Shire (pirana) CMMS system daily
• Ensuring daily, weekly and annual servicing is complete
• Assist with machine installations as and when needed
• Working with other departments to a continuous improvement focus to ensure the business is the best it can be

Desired experience of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
• It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
• Ideally have 3 years+ experience within in a Mechanical maintenance position outside of apprenticeship
• Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
• Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
