Available Shifts

Support is required across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts scheduled within the following times:

  • 7:00am–2:00pm
  • 4:00pm–10:00pm
The precise weekly rota will be discussed during the application process.

About the Role

Priority Recruitment is recruiting two reliable and compassionate Female Community Support Workers to support Lifetime Homecare’s clients across the S80, S44 and S21 areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support multiple clients within their own homes. Most of the individuals receiving support are over 60 and require assistance to remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible.

The role involves travelling between local care visits, providing person-centred support and building positive relationships with clients. Some support may be delivered on a 2:1 basis depending on the individual’s assessed needs.

We are looking for Support Workers who are patient, dependable and confident providing personal care. You must also be comfortable working independently and travelling between clients using your own vehicle.

Pay and Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing respectful and dignified personal care
  • Supporting clients with their daily routines
  • Assisting with safe moving, handling and mobility
  • Supporting with medication in line with training and care plans
  • Promoting independence, dignity and individual choice
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Following individual care plans and risk assessments
  • Observing and reporting any changes in a client’s wellbeing
  • Maintaining clear and accurate care records
  • Communicating effectively with clients, families, team leaders and the wider care team
  • Travelling reliably between clients across the local area
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A caring, patient and person-centred approach
  • Confidence providing personal care
  • Clear and confident spoken English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and excellent timekeeping
  • The ability to work independently and use your initiative
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Flexibility to work across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
  • Willingness to complete any required training
Previous experience within care or support work would be beneficial. However, Moving and Handling and Medication training can be refreshed or provided for the right candidate.
