A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager or Reliability professional to move into a highly consultative engineering role with an established specialist consultancy.

Working with major international clients across heavy industry, you will help businesses solve complex challenges around reliability, maintenance, asset performance and organisational effectiveness.

This is not a role where you simply tell clients what they should do. You will listen, assess, challenge, coach and work collaboratively with clients to develop practical solutions that they can implement and sustain.

• Lead engineering and reliability improvement projects with international clients
• Understand complex technical, maintenance and organisational challenges
• Work directly with senior engineering and operational stakeholders
• Develop practical solutions and guide clients through implementation
• Coach client teams and build long-term relationships
• Manage projects and take ownership of client assignments
• Apply your own industrial experience to solve real-world problems
• Work independently while contributing to a small, highly experienced team

You will have a strong engineering background gained within a heavy, asset-intensive industry, ideally including oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, energy, power generation, utilities, heavy manufacturing, mining or similar.

You may currently be working as an:

• Technical Manager
• Senior Engineering / Reliability Manager
• Senior / Principal Engineer
• Engineering Consultant

Consultancy experience is useful but not essential. What matters is that you have the credibility, experience and personality to understand a client's problems and help them find the right solution.

You will be a strong listener and communicator, naturally curious, commercially aware and comfortable coaching rather than telling.

• Predominantly remote working
• Approximately 2-3 months a year international travel
