Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a CACHE Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming primary schools and early years settings throughout Sheffield.

This CACHE Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for candidates with a Level 3 CACHE qualification and experience supporting children within Nursery and Reception. Working as a CACHE Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant in Sheffield offers flexibility whilst allowing you to support children during the important early stages of their learning and development.

Position: CACHE Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

Working as a CACHE Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant in Sheffield, you will support children within Nursery and Reception through engaging, play-based and structured learning activities.

The CACHE Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant role in Sheffield includes supporting children's communication, independence, social development and early learning skills. You will work alongside teachers and early years practitioners to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children within Nursery and Reception
• Assist with play-based and structured learning activities
• Support children's communication and social development
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour
• Help prepare resources and learning environments
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 CACHE Early Years qualification essential
• Previous experience supporting children within EYFS
• Good understanding of early years learning and development
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
