About the RoleAnna Maher Recruitment is delighted to be working with a growing and ambitious organisation in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Marketing & Communications Specialist.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional looking for a varied role where they can make a real impact.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and senior stakeholders across the business, you will play an important role in shaping how the organisation is positioned in the market, communicating the value of its solutions and supporting wider business growth.
The role offers a great balance of strategic thinking and hands-on marketing delivery, covering campaigns, content, communications, brand positioning, events and go-to-market activity.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with commercial priorities.
- Creating go-to-market strategies for key services, solutions and sectors.
- Planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Supporting account-based marketing activity alongside business development and client-facing teams.
- Developing customer-focused messaging and compelling value propositions.
- Translating complex or technical propositions into clear and engaging communications.
- Managing content plans and producing high-quality marketing content.
- Creating case studies, thought leadership pieces, presentations, sales materials and digital content.
- Supporting brand awareness and positioning senior leaders as credible industry voices.
- Planning and coordinating events, exhibitions and trade shows.
- Monitoring campaign performance and using data and insight to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Supporting marketing budget and resource planning.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the wider organisation.
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who is confident working across both strategy and delivery.
You will be commercially aware, creative and highly organised, with the ability to take a business objective, understand the target audience and develop the messaging and marketing activity required to deliver against it.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong experience in integrated marketing, communications, brand or campaign delivery.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- The ability to communicate complex or technical information in a clear and engaging way.
- Strong campaign planning and project management skills.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience across digital marketing, social media, content management systems and marketing analytics.
- A strong commercial understanding of how marketing contributes to business growth.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a data-led approach to decision making.
Experience within a technical, engineering, industrial or complex B2B environment would be advantageous.
Experience of account-based marketing, media relations, thought leadership and trade events would also be beneficial.
