Site Remedial Worker - #2140685

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Remedial Worker to join an established and highly respected structural steelwork business based in South Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling to construction sites across the UK to carry out snagging, remedial works, steel erection, welding and fabrication, ensuring completed steelwork meets the required quality and project standards.

This is a hands-on position ideally suited to a coded welder with previous structural steel and site experience who is confident identifying issues and carrying out the necessary remedial works.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Travelling nationally to construction sites to undertake snagging and remedial works.
• Inspecting erected structural steelwork and identifying defects or areas requiring attention.
• Carrying out remedial welding, fabrication and steel erection.
• Identifying and reporting any remedial work required.
• Working closely with site and project teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Providing feedback on quality or installation issues identified on site.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Working in line with relevant site Health & Safety procedures and project requirements.

To be considered, you will need:

• Previous experience within the structural steel industry - essential.
• Previous experience working on construction sites.
• Strong experience in steel erection and fabrication.
• Current coded welding qualifications - essential.
• A relevant CSCS Card - essential.
• A strong understanding of construction site Health & Safety.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and identify practical solutions to site issues.
• Flexibility to travel nationally.

CPCS, IPAF, MEWP or Telehandler qualifications would be highly advantageous.
