Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer who is looking to add an experienced Mechanical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic Fitter to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week period.

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm

Assemble, install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems on commercial vehicles
Fit and repair components including pumps, valves, cylinders, pipework and associated equipment
Read and work from technical drawings, schematics and build specifications
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently
Support refurbishment projects and new vehicle builds
Maintain quality, safety and production standards at all times

Previous experience in a Mechanical, Hydraulic or Pneumatic Fitter role
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics
Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK Driving Licence required
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
