SEND Teacher | Full Time | Long Term to Permanent | South Yorkshire

Are you a passionate and committed teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs? We are recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a specialist provision that supports pupils with Autism, complex learning difficulties, sensory needs and communication needs.

This is a full-time, long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The school provides a highly supportive and nurturing environment where relationships, communication and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do. Staff work collaboratively to help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally, celebrating every achievement along the way. The provision caters for learners across a range of phases, including:

• Primary Phase – Developing communication, social interaction and early learning through engaging, pupil-centred approaches.
• Secondary Phase – Supporting academic progress, independence, confidence and preparation for adulthood.
• Post-16 Phase – Focusing on life skills, employability, independence and positive future pathways.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Has experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with ASC and communication needs
• Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Can adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities
• Is creative, resilient and passionate about inclusive education
• Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
