Class 2 Driver in Sheffield - #2144726

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a permanent, full-time position with a well-established and reputable company based in Sheffield.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for stable, year-round employment, regular work and competitive rates of pay.

Working pattern:
Any 5 out of 7 days per week.

Available start times:
Night shifts: between 23:59 and 03:00
Afternoon shifts: between 14:00 and 16:00

Pay rates (PAYE): - not included holiday pay.
Days: £15.11 per hour
Nights: £16.92 per hour

Holiday entitlement will be accrued during employment.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving Class 2 (LGV C) vehicles and safely delivering parcels to Delivery Units

• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times

• Completing and maintaining accurate paperwork

• Following company procedures and all relevant road safety regulations

Candidate requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

• Valid Driver CPC card

• Valid Digital Tachograph card

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Class 2 driver

• No more than 6 penalty points for minor driving offences

• Ability to successfully complete an on-site driving assessment
