Senior Project Manager - Automation
Are you an experienced project manager with a background in control and automation systems?
Do you enjoy managing projects from initial client engagement right through to delivery?

What will you be doing?
-Leading build-to-print control panel and major hardware projects, from initial client engagement through to delivery
-Developing project plans, timelines and resource allocation, and monitoring progress against them
-Managing project budgets, tracking costs and identifying efficiency savings
-Acting as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and communication throughout
-Coordinating with procurement, production and quality teams to keep materials, resources and standards on track
-Leading project meetings, from kick-offs to progress reviews, and reporting to stakeholders
-Maintaining project documentation and supporting quality audits

What you'll need
-A degree in science or engineering
-Proven project management and team leadership experience
-Experience delivering a structured project lifecycle as a Level 5 Engineer or Level 4 Project Manager (or equivalent), typically 2-3 years
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
-Strong commercial, financial and contract management skills, including NEC contracts
-Experience producing formal technical documentation across the full project lifecycle
-A good understanding of Quality Management System procedures, with experience supporting quality audits
-A full UK driving licence
