Primary Step-Out Tutor - SEN/SEMH - #2146795

£25-£35 per hour | Flexible 1:1 Tuition | Multiple Locations

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking Primary Step-Out Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition to children in Sheffield who are currently unable to access mainstream education due to SEN and/or SEMH needs.

• Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Travel to the pupil's home or an appropriate community setting, such as a local library.
• Adapt sessions to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Liaise with schools, parents/carers and relevant professionals where required.

• Experience working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
• Primary teaching/tutoring experience is desirable.
• Patient, adaptable and confident working on a 1:1 basis.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - essential.
• Able to travel between different pupils and work independently.

£25-£35 per hour, depending on experience and the individual assignment.

Please note that the higher end of the pay range is based not only on experience and suitability, but also on the Local Authority's available budget for each pupil.
