Location: Sheffield City Council, Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1TR
Pay Rate: £22.32 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 16:00pm
Contract Length: 5 - 6 Months (Full Time)

Sheffield City Council are looking for an experienced and qualified Joiner to join their team on a full-time temporary contract for approximately 5 - 6 months. The successful candidate will be based at Manor Lane, Sheffield, carrying out a range of backlog repair works across council properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent work with the possibility of additional overtime.

Day-to-day of the role

• Carry out a variety of joinery repairs and maintenance works.
• Complete backlog repairs to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Work on domestic and commercial council properties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
• Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Joinery (or equivalent qualification)
• Valid Basic DBS Certificate
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience carrying out repairs and maintenance work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
