Member Support Personal Assistant

• Hourly Rate: £15.56 PAYE
• Location: Sheffield
• Job Type: Part-time (21 hours per week with flexibility)

Join our clients professional team as a Member Support Personal Assistant and work closely with elected Members of the council in Sheffield. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and witness the positive impact of council work across the city.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide confidential and proactive support to a lead member of the city council.
• Manage complex diaries and email inboxes, ensuring efficient time management and communication.
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to maintain and enhance service quality.
• Produce accurate minutes, briefing notes, and correspondence that are essential for council operations.
• Collaborate with other team members to support the overall objectives of the council.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably within a governmental or similar high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex diaries and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in producing detailed and accurate administrative documents.
• Motivated, confident, and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
