Assistant Project Manager - #2149140

Force Recruitment are working with an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the UK. We’re looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their team and develop within a growing business. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in civil engineering or construction who is looking to take the next step into project management.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel and work on projects nationwide.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you’ll support the successful delivery of live projects, including:

• Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitoring programme and project progress.
• Assisting with project reporting and documentation.
• Supporting commercial and contractual activities.
• Attending site and client meetings.
• Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or construction, with exposure to water, heavy civils or NEC contracts being beneficial but not essential.
• A good understanding of construction and project delivery.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively with site teams and project stakeholders.
• A proactive approach and desire to develop.
• Willingness to travel and work across nationwide projects.
