Deputy Store Manager | Visual Merchandising Specialist | £40-60,000

We're looking for an ambitious Deputy Store Manager to join a high-profile retail store and play a key role in leading a large team, driving commercial performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As Deputy Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to deliver the retail plan, lead from the front and ensure every area of the store operates to the highest standards. A key part of the role will be taking ownership of Visual Merchandising across the whole store, ensuring the store is inspiring, commercially strong and consistently reflects the brand.

What You'll Do

• Support the Store Manager with the leadership and performance of a large retail team.
• Take full ownership of Visual Merchandising, including seasonal launches, floor moves, layouts, displays and promotional activity.
• Act as Deputy Store Manager in the Store Manager's absence, taking responsibility for the overall store operation.
• Use sales data, customer insight and commercial performance to maximise Visual Merchandising opportunities.
• Coach, develop and motivate a large team, building a high-performance culture.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are consistently delivered across Fashion, Home & Beauty.
• Drive sales, KPIs, customer experience and operational excellence as Deputy Store Manager.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure Visual Merchandising supports the wider commercial strategy.
• Maintain high standards of compliance, safety, stock management and store presentation.
• Bring energy, creativity and strong leadership to the Deputy Store Manager role.

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced retail leader with a strong background in Visual Merchandising, confident managing a large team and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You'll combine commercial awareness with a genuine eye for presentation, using Visual Merchandising to create compelling customer experiences and drive sales. As Deputy Store Manager, you'll be a confident decision-maker, inspirational people leader and a strong partner to the Store Manager.
