Are you looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role where you can support pupils across a range of age groups?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with SEN schools across Sheffield who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a range of additional needs. The settings focus on creating supportive, inclusive environments where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

We are looking for a flexible SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis, supporting pupils across different age groups and key stages. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be expected to provide classroom and individual support, follow teachers' guidance and adapt confidently to the individual needs of the pupils they are working with.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
• Experience supporting pupils within an education or care setting
• A patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to adapt to different pupils, age groups and learning environments
• A positive 'can-do' attitude and willingness to get stuck in
