Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Static Concrete Pump Operator/Boom Operator to start in Sheffield. In this role, you will be responsible for operating static concrete pumps and boom pumps to facilitate the efficient and precise placement of concrete. Duties

• Operate static concrete pumps and boom pumps with precision, ensuring accurate delivery of concrete according to project specifications
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to verify safety and functionality before use
• Coordinate with the construction crew to determine optimal placement and timing for concrete pouring
• Maintain clear communication with site supervisors regarding pump operation status and any issues encountered
• Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on pump machinery to ensure continuous operation
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and site safety procedures
• Assist in setting up and dismantling pump equipment at various job sites as needed
• Support other heavy machinery operations such as excavators when required, demonstrating versatility
