We’re working with a Registered Building Control Approver that is looking to appoint a professional and customer-focused Registered Building Inspector to join their team.

They’re particularly interested in Class 2A Registered Building Inspectors but would also consider a Class 1 Inspector who is close to obtaining their 2A registration and would benefit from some additional support and development.

The role

As a Registered Building Inspector, you’ll play an important professional role in delivering a high-quality Building Control service, helping to ensure the health, safety and welfare of people in and around buildings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan checking
• Site inspections
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
• Applying sound professional judgement
• Providing a high standard of customer service
• Working collaboratively with colleagues

• Class 2A+ registration, or Class 1 registration and is close to achieving 2A
• Strong technical knowledge
• Sound professional judgement
• A practical and proportionate approach to compliance and enforcement

• A genuine interest in continuing their professional development
