Our client is seeking an ambitious and highly organised Events Manager to take ownership of an established events programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people together, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in building a vibrant business community. The role can be considered on either a full-time basis or part-time from 30 hours per week.
Reporting to the leadership team, you will take responsibility for the planning, promotion, coordination and delivery of a diverse programme of events, ranging from founder showcases and networking events through to workshops, roundtables, investor sessions and community activities.
You will oversee events from concept through to delivery and post-event follow-up, ensuring an exceptional experience for attendees, speakers, sponsors and partners.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating events from inception to completion
- Managing event schedules, budgets and delivery plans
- Liaising with venues, suppliers, speakers and stakeholders
- Managing registrations, guest lists and attendee communications
- Coordinating event-day logistics and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Creating and scheduling promotional content across social media channels
- Managing email campaigns, newsletters and event registration pages
- Supporting membership and CRM systems administration
- Maintaining strong relationships with founders, investors, sponsors and partners
- Tracking event performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring accurate records, reporting and operational processes are maintained
About You
The successful candidate may already have a background in events, marketing, or operations.
You will be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work with autonomy
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing circumstances
- Confident using digital platforms and keen to learn new systems
- Interested in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and business communities
- Enthusiastic about embracing AI-powered tools and ways of working
