Senior Compliance Business Partner – Consumer Credit - #2157783

We are working with a Consumer Credit business who are looking to add a Senior Compliance Business Partner to their team. The role will support the Head of Compliance and play a key part in enhancing the firm’s compliance framework. This opportunity would suit someone with strong regulatory knowledge within a consumer credit compliance environment. This role can be remote role with some travel to Sheffield required.

Duties & Experience required include:

• Lead on compliance monitoring to ensure delivery of the annual compliance monitoring plan – designing, establishing, and implementing a monitoring framework proportionate to the business
• Support and/lead on AML/Financial crime related tasked e.g. firm wide risk assessment, establishing controls, PEP processes, SAR investigations
• Draft, review and/or establish compliance and/or financial crime policies, procedures and frameworks in line with FCA requirements
• Support training and awareness initiatives to embed a strong culture of compliance
• Collaborate with the wider business to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes
• Proven compliance experience, within consumer credit financial services sector
• Knowledge of FCA regulations with strong understanding of consumer protection requirements, CONC, Consumer Duty and SMCR
• Strong ability to meet deliverables and own responsibilities and tasks without significant oversight
