Software/Data Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Software/Data Engineer on a hybrid basis in South Yorkshire for an initial 2 month contract.

Role Description:

The client is looking for a strong Software/Data Engineer with Azure and SRE/DevOps experience.

Must-have skills:

• Strong Python software engineering

• Azure cloud and data engineering experience

• Building and supporting data pipelines / ETL

• Strong SQL

• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

• CI/CD, Git and automation

• Linux and scripting, such as Bash/PowerShell

• Hands-on SRE/DevOps and production support experience

Good to have:

• Databricks / Data Factory / Data Lake

• Kafka / Event Hubs / Spark

• Kubernetes

• Azure Monitor / Grafana / Prometheus

• Cybersecurity, SIEM/SOAR or financial services experience
