Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Construction Site Manager, based on site in Sheffield, available to start immediately.

You will run day-to-day site operations and take responsibility for delivering the project safely, on programme and within budget. The role includes:

• Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring progress against programme
• Implementing and enforcing health and safety standards
• Managing site documentation and records
• Liaising with the client and project stakeholders
• Resolving issues on site as they arise
• Maintaining quality control and compliance with the project specification

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects, ideally in commercial, retail or large civils environments
• Strong planning and project coordination skills
• Cost control and budgeting experience
• Sound knowledge of UK construction regulations and health and safety standards
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities
• A relevant construction or engineering qualification, or equivalent experience
• CSCS card and SMSTS
• Full UK driving licence and the ability to work on site in Sheffield
• Good IT skills are essential; experience with Procore is an advantage
