The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to join our team within the lift industry. Working closely with the commercial team, you will provide essential administrative and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a technical and fast-paced industry, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day administrative and commercial support to the Commercial team.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of commercial documentation.
  • Processing customer orders and ensuring all relevant information is accurate and complete.
  • Maintaining accurate records of projects, quotations, orders and customer information on company systems.
  • Liaising with customers and internal departments to obtain and provide project information.
  • Monitoring project and order progress and highlighting any issues or delays to the relevant team members.
  • Assisting with contract and project documentation, ensuring information is recorded and maintained accurately.
  • Supporting the team with customer queries and providing a professional and timely response.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy when handling technical, financial and customer information.
  • Undertaking general administrative duties and supporting the wider business as required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a commercial, sales administration or coordination role would be advantageous.
  • Experience within the lift, construction, engineering or building services industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, quotations and commercial information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Professional, proactive and positive approach to work.
