Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield, starting ASAP.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated primary teacher to make a real difference during a crucial stage of pupils' education. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing pupils for their SATs, supporting their academic progress and ensuring they feel confident and ready for the transition to secondary school.

• Teaching a Year 6 class on a full-time basis.

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.

• Preparing pupils for their end-of-Key-Stage 2 SATs assessments.

• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet pupils' individual needs.

• Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

• Supporting pupils' confidence, wellbeing and readiness for secondary education.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching in a primary school, ideally within Year 6.

• Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.

• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

• Can motivate and inspire pupils to achieve their full potential.

• Is adaptable, proactive and committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences.
