Kingsley Wood is an innovative legal consultancy at the forefront of changing how lawyers work today. Our Consultant Partner model offers experienced lawyers the opportunity to build and develop their own legal practice with genuine autonomy, flexibility and significant earning potential, supported by the infrastructure of an established legal consultancy.
This is a consultancy partnership role and is not a traditional salaried employment position. Consultant Partners operate on a fee-share basis, retaining a significant proportion of the fees they generate while benefiting from Kingsley Wood’s administrative, compliance, technology and operational support.
We provide the tools, support and framework our Consultant Partners need to build successful, sustainable practices, allowing experienced corporate lawyers to focus on delivering outstanding client outcomes while developing their own client relationships and business.

The Role
This is an opportunity for a corporate lawyer who wants to move away from the traditional law firm model and take greater control over their career, client relationships, working arrangements and earning potential.
You will advise clients across a broad range of corporate matters and will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high-quality legal advice and contributing to business development.
The role also provides the opportunity to develop your own client following and generate additional work through your existing professional network, referrals and business development activity.
There is no fixed salary attached to this role. Earnings are generated through the fee-share model, with Consultant Partners retaining between 75% and 85% of the fees they bill.
This structure is particularly suited to an ambitious corporate solicitor who is confident in their ability to develop relationships and generate work and who wants to benefit directly from the success of their practice.
The Candidate
You will be an experienced, commercially astute corporate lawyer who:
- Has 4 years’+ PQE in corporate law
- Has strong experience across a broad range of corporate transactions and advisory matters
- Is comfortable generating work through existing contacts, referrals and business development initiatives
- Is ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated to build their own client following
- Wants greater control over their career, working arrangements and earning potential
- Thrives in a flexible, modern working environment
- Is comfortable working within a fee-share consultancy model
Candidates with an existing client following, established professional network, strong referral relationships or a clear business development plan will be particularly attractive.
Why Become a Consultant Partner?
The Kingsley Wood Consultant Partner model gives you the opportunity to build your own practice without having to build an entire law firm around it.
You retain the freedom and autonomy of running your own practice, while Kingsley Wood provides the infrastructure, technology, compliance, administration and support needed to allow you to focus on your clients and business development.
With a 75%–85% fee share, the model provides significant earning potential and allows you to benefit directly from the work and client relationships you develop.
If you are an experienced corporate solicitor looking for greater autonomy, flexibility and earning potential, and are ready to build your practice within a supportive consultancy environment, we would be interested in hearing from you.
