Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Solution Architect to lead the optimisation and transformation of an existing HR Service Delivery platform within a large public sector organisation.

The successful candidate will assess the current implementation, reduce technical debt, eliminate unnecessary customisations and drive adoption of out-of-the-box (OOTB) ServiceNow capabilities.

The focus will be on simplifying architecture, improving maintainability and delivering a scalable, employee-centric HR service experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing HRSD architecture, workflows, integrations, configurations and technical debt.
• Identify opportunities to reduce customisations and align the platform with ServiceNow best practices.
• Define target-state architecture and a prioritised transformation roadmap.
• Drive OOTB adoption across HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Journey Management and HR Agent Workspace.
• Establish architecture governance, technical standards and design review processes.
• Support HR knowledge migration and optimisation to improve employee experience.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders, product owners, platform teams and ServiceNow representatives.
• Support upgrade readiness, release management, security and ongoing platform optimisation.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on and architectural experience with ServiceNow HRSD.
• Proven experience in ServiceNow platform transformation and optimisation.
• Strong track record of reducing technical debt and unnecessary customisations.
• Knowledge of HR service delivery processes and employee experience.
• Experience with HR Case Management, Knowledge Management and Employee Journey Management.
• Understanding of integrations, platform security, upgrades and release management.
• Experience defining target-state architectures, governance frameworks and transformation roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
