Hiring: Backend Engineer – Python & Generative AI

Location: Sheffield, UK

Contract: 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong Python and Generative AI expertise to build secure, scalable backend services and AI-powered applications.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, REST APIs, and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Experience integrating AI models, LLM APIs, and agent-based workflows into production applications.
• Knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, Docker/containers, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of API security, authentication, monitoring, and production support.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have: React, TypeScript, full-stack development, and enterprise-level application experience.
