Are you a Senior Authorised Person or experienced HV Authorised Person with experience working on electrical networks up to 33kV, looking to join a growing and well-established electrical engineering company offering technical variety, responsibility and long-term career development?

This company has built a strong reputation for delivering specialist electrical engineering solutions to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Authorised Person to take responsibility for HV/LV electrical safety, switching operations and the supervision of electrical works across various UK sites.

In this role, you will oversee safe systems of work, carry out HV switching operations up to 33kV, manage permits and isolations, and provide technical leadership to engineers and subcontractors. You will also support testing, maintenance and commissioning activities across a range of electrical distribution equipment.

This role would suit an experienced SAP or HV Authorised Person looking for a technically challenging position with autonomy, varied projects and the opportunity to play a key role within an established engineering business.

The Role:

• Carry out HV/LV switching operations, isolations and reinstatement on electrical networks up to 33kV.
• Prepare switching schedules, issue permits to work and oversee electrical safe systems of work.
• Support testing, maintenance, installation and commissioning of HV/LV switchgear, transformers and electrical distribution equipment.
• Review RAMS, supervise contractors and provide technical guidance to engineers.
• Work across various UK client sites, supporting planned outages and electrical fault response.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry standards.

The Person:

• Experience as a Senior Authorised Person or HV Authorised Person.
• Electrical qualifications including NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition and inspection/testing certification.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
