Role : Technical Business Analyst (Cloud Migration)

Location: Shefield, UK

Job Type: Contract (Hybrid)

Job Description:

● Support a large-scale, multi-year cloud migration programme from on-premises data centres to the cloud.

● Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and technical requirements.

● Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, technical leads, product owners, and third-party vendors.

● Write functional specifications, Agile user stories, and acceptance criteria.

● Create business process models, flowcharts, and data flow diagrams.

● Analyse application dependencies, system changes, and business impacts.

● Define and execute test cases to validate requirements and solutions.

● Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.

● Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimisation within DevOps.

● Communicate effectively with globally distributed teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

● Prepare presentations, handover documents, and knowledge-transfer materials.

● Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability, independent working, and problem-solving skills.

● Have working knowledge of APIs, databases, SQL, and Microsoft Office tools.
