Interim Head of HR – Exciting Start-Up Opportunity

Initial 3-Month FTC | Day Rate Considered

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

Located: Sheffield

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Head of HR to play a pivotal role in the start-up and operational launch of a business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building things from the ground up, driving change and making a real impact.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take the lead in designing and implementing a new employment framework, ensuring the business has the right structures, policies and processes in place to support its launch and future growth.

What we're looking for:

We're keen to speak with experienced senior HR professionals who have a strong track record in HR transformation, particularly around terms and conditions, pay and reward, and job evaluation.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience of designing and implementing employment frameworks within a commercial or operational environment.
• Strong expertise in pay structures, grading and job evaluation.
• Experience of contractual harmonisation or workforce modernisation.
• A background in unionised environments, including consultation and negotiation.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver complex projects within tight timescales.
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach with the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment.

The initial appointment is for 3 months on a fixed-term contract, although a day-rate arrangement will also be considered.
