Workshop Forklift Engineer - Sheffield - #2181228

We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to join the team at our depot near Sheffield.

This is a hands-on workshop position within a busy team, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining a hire fleet of forklifts.
• Carrying out LOLER inspections and associated checks.
• Diagnosing and completing repairs and maintenance work.
• Working primarily on Combilift equipment.
• Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and is ready for hire.
• Working independently and managing your workload effectively.
• Supporting the wider workshop team as required.

Experience you will need:

• Previous engineering experience working with forklifts, plant machinery or HGVs.
• Mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance.
• LOLER inspection experience would be beneficial.
• The ability to work independently without requiring significant supervision.
• A practical, hands-on approach and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Your Package:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Salary: £30,000–£40,000 basic + overtime
• OTE: £35,625–£47,500 (based on an average of 5 hours' overtime per week)
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
