Duties / Responsibilities

• Planning and carrying out audit assignments from initial preparation through to completion.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Managing audit fieldwork, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Supervising and supporting junior members of the team, providing guidance throughout assignments.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact during audit engagements.
• Identifying potential issues and communicating findings to managers and partners.
• Supporting the wider accounts team with year-end accounts preparation and other general practice assignments where required.

Who You Are

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearly qualified.
• Experienced in audit within an accountancy practice environment.
• Confident managing audit assignments and working with a varied client base.
• Comfortable supporting junior colleagues and reviewing their work.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities.
• A strong communicator who values client relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues.
