An established and growing passive fire protection contractor is looking to recruit an Estimator to join its team based in South Yorkshire.
Operating nationwide, the business delivers a varied portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, social housing and student accommodation sectors. Its specialist services include fire stopping, fire compartmentation, fire-resisting ductwork, fire doors, service enclosures, surveys and remedial works, offering the successful candidate exposure to a broad range of projects.
Having entered an exciting period of expansion, the company has strengthened its senior management team and continues to develop its presence across multiple regions.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, primarily focusing on firestopping projects. This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you will have exposure to varied projects and play an important role in supporting its continued expansion.
Requirements:
Strong technical understanding of passive fire protection, particularly firestopping.
Previous estimating experience within passive fire protection.
Candidates from a technical or estimating background within a passive fire manufacturer will also be considered.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
IFE Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications would be beneficial, but are not essential.

Salary of £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience.
