TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Sheffield, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The setting focuses on providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children aged 0-5 can develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills through play-based activities.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be working with children aged 0-5, supporting their learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, encouraging positive interactions and ensuring children's individual needs are met throughout the day.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)

• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework

• Experience working with children aged 0-5 within a nursery or Early Years setting

• A good understanding of safeguarding and child development

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
