Major Incident Manager - #2185120

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager to lead the response and recovery of critical IT incidents across a complex enterprise environment.

You'll take ownership of major incidents, coordinating technical teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders to restore services as quickly as possible while minimising business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major IT incidents across infrastructure, networks, cloud and security.
• Coordinate technical teams and suppliers during critical outages.
• Chair incident calls and manage stakeholder communications.
• Drive service restoration and ensure incidents are resolved effectively.
• Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Manage incident, problem and change processes in line with ITIL.

Essential Experience

• Strong Major Incident Management experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Good understanding of infrastructure, networks, servers and cloud.
• Experience coordinating technical recovery activities.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills.
• ITIL / ITSM experience.
