DB Senior Pensions Technician GMP - #2186845

Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a TPA who are presently recruiting for a DB Senior Pensions Technician in GMP.

The essential experience required for the role is DB Senior Pensions Administrator level with strong GMP, excel and calculations experience

Role

The role is developing solutions for benefit design changes following GMP equalisation including performing complex extraction, analysis and processing of pensions data.

• Project Based work
• DB Pensions Data Analysis
• Building complex spreadsheets
• The delivery of assigned projects
• Running and specifying data extracts from the administration system including bespoke reports
• Perform bulk calculations in Excel
• Identify opportunistic income work and provide cost estimates to the client and commercial teams
• Provide project updates and time scales to the leadership team
• Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiencies of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery and improve processes

Experience Required

• Strong DB Pensions Administration experience at a senior administration level
• Good knowledge of GMP equalisation - Understands concepts behind GMP solutions and the relationships between scheme design, data and calculations
• Understands
• Database structure, how member record types are linked
• Basic scheme parameters, such as Factor Tables and Benefit Types
• System utilities such as Valuation Extract and DC Operations
• Project reporting and RAID logs
