As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support children within Nursery and Reception settings, helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Working with small groups and individual children to develop early communication, language, literacy and numeracy skills.

• Encouraging learning through play, exploration and practical activities.

• Supporting children's social, emotional and physical development.

• Assisting with daily routines, observations and classroom activities.

• Working collaboratively with teachers and nursery practitioners to provide high-quality early years provision.

To be considered for these opportunities, you should have:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, with qualifications meeting the applicable requirements for inclusion in EYFS staff-to-child ratios where required.

• Previous experience supporting children within Nursery and/or Reception, gained in a mainstream primary school, school nursery or private nursery setting.

• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and the importance of learning through play.

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
