Hgv Driver - #2188005

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. 

Shifts: Typically across Monday to Friday but weekend work also may be a requirement 

Roles:

• HGV Class 1 - Linehaul runs 
• HGV Class 2 - Bulk runs 

Start Times: 

• Days - between 7am - 10am starts (bulk runs)
• Afters - between 12pm - 10pm starts (linehaul runs)

Pay Rate:

• Bulk runs - £15.83 per hour 

• Linehaul runs - £17.79 per hour (between 6am -10pm) & £18.29 per hour (between 10pm - 6am)

Location: Sheffield 

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

The role:

• Bulk runs - Multi-drop delivery (loading and loading required) 

• Linehaul runs - Performing trunk runs to the HUB 

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E & C).

• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

• 6 months minimum experience for Bulk runs however, Linehaul runs will take newer passes. 

• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

• Full understanding of WTD legislation.

• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

• Excellent communication skills.

• A safety-first mindset.
