Sheffield | Hybrid | Up to £60,000 + exceptional benefitsAre you an experienced valuation, investment finance or financial modelling professional looking for a role where your expertise can genuinely influence investment decisions?We are partnering exclusively with a high-profile, purpose-led financial institution to recruit a Senior Valuations Manager into a key leadership position within its Sheffield operation.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the valuation of a significant direct investment portfolio, working at the heart of a complex and influential organisation where robust financial insight, strong governance and high-quality decision-making really matter.The opportunityYou will lead the quarterly valuation process for a substantial investment portfolio, setting the standard for quality, governance, financial analysis and documentation.Working closely with senior colleagues across Finance and Investment, you will provide expert valuation insight and constructive challenge, helping ensure investment performance is accurately understood, and senior decisions are supported by robust financial information.Your remit will include:

• Leading the quarterly investment valuation process
• Providing authoritative valuation advice and constructive challenge to senior stakeholders
• Developing valuation methodologies, controls and governance
• Overseeing sophisticated financial models, portfolio data and reporting tools
• Driving improvements in data quality, systems and operational efficiency
• Ensuring appropriate application of IFRS 13, IFRS 9 and IPEV valuation principles
• Leading, developing and motivating a specialist valuations team
• Building a high-performance culture centred on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement

About youYou will bring significant experience in financial asset valuation, investment analysis, financial modelling or portfolio performance reporting, alongside the technical credibility to operate confidently in a sophisticated investment environment.Importantly, this is not simply a technical valuation's role.
