We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our established main dealership in Sheffield. Benefits:

• Salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience.
• OTE packages of up to £50,000, with packages available to suit all skill levels.
• 42-hour working week with no weekend working.

Duties:

• Repair and service vehicles to a high standard.
• Complete vehicle diagnostic checks and identify faults accurately.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, general faults and required maintenance.
• Complete all work in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach.
• Liaise effectively with service advisers, customers and senior management.
• Carry out all other vehicle maintenance and repair duties as required.
• Assist with the mentoring and development of apprentice technicians.
• As a Vehicle Technician, act as the technical expert, ensuring every repair is completed efficiently and correctly.

Requirements:

• Relevant formal qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, or an equivalent skill level.
• Proven experience in a vehicle technician or automotive repair role.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT testing licence is desirable but not essential.
• The successful Vehicle Technician will demonstrate strong diagnostic ability, attention to detail and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
