Winner Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience in precision CNC milling, producing high-quality components to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set, operate and adjust CNC milling machines.

• Machine components in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling and machining parameters.

• Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T requirements.

• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.

• Monitor machining cycles and make adjustments where necessary.

• Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and housekeeping.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC milling.

• Competent in setting and operating CNC milling machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Understanding of machining tolerances and surface finishes.

• Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain.

• Experience working within a precision engineering environment.

Previous experience within heavy engineering, large component machining or precision manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
