Customer Service Supervisor – Sheffield – £34,000 - £38,000 (Hybrid)

Customer Service Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and employee development
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels through effective workforce planning, resource management, and succession planning
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to promote consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with organisational standards
• Support the development and delivery of business improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and stakeholder experience
• Monitor, analyse, and report on operational performance, using data and insights to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and inform decision-making
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure the effective delivery of services
• Oversee the coordination of day-to-day operational processes, ensuring activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed standards
• Manage and resolve complex service-related issues, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to deliver timely and effective outcomes
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-focused service across the team
• Ensure compliance with relevant organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven customer service experience within a similar role with proven leadership experience
• Experience and knowledge of processing export orders including Incoterms
• Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships
• IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage etc
