Undergraduate Placement Designer 2023/24

Are you currently in your second year at University and keen to work on development of one of our games?

Sumo Digital are delighted to announce the return of our paid Design Undergraduate Placement Scheme for the academic year 2023/24.

The scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for talented students to spend a year working as designers on our live projects, a great chance to improve your Design skills on a real project. We highly value the contribution that exceptional, undergraduate talent bring to our studio, many of our placement students have returned to work for us permanently after graduation.

Sumo's Design placement scheme is open to Games Design undergraduates at any university who require an industrial placement in their third year.

To be successful for this role, applicants must have a passion for either Level, Game or Technical Design working towards a 2:1 classification or above in their studies and submit an online portfolio showcasing their work.

To apply, please upload your CV and a cover letter explaining why you want to work for Sumo and what makes you a good designer. It is essential that you include a portfolio of your work to showcase what you can do to the hiring managers.

This opportunity is specifically for our Sheffield studio but can be done on a remote basis within the UK.
