ATI is looking for a full-time PROJECT ARCHITECT to join its Sheffield Studio.

The Role

As a Project Architect, you will engage in a portfolio of ambitious projects across a range of sectors and locations. You will lead projects from briefing through to technical design (Stages 1-3) and provide ongoing supervision beyond. You will coordinate with a global network of professionals to ensure quality and timely delivery. You will manage the project team, liaise with clients, stakeholders and specialist consultants to meet design requirements, budget, and schedule.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume an integral role within the ATI team; driving cohesion, capacity and efficiency with commitment and integrity.
  • Build on your skills and experience; to lead teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within defined budgets, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Evaluate, and develop innovative solutions to design challenges, providing strategic recommendations in alignment with project constraints and opportunities.
  • Oversee the preparation, coordination, and issuance of comprehensive project documentation, including meeting records, reports, drawings, specifications, and other contractual materials.
  • Prepare fee proposals and resource allocation strategies in alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals, including structural engineers, MEP, quantity surveyors, and construction managers, while maintaining strong client focus and engagement.
  • Review and provide expert input on technical information and design recommendations received from specialist consultants and stakeholders.
  • Work with local teams to build rapid knowledge and competency across a range international standards and jurisdictions; to ensure compliance, and secure all necessary approvals; engaging where necessary with local authorities.
  • Assist with coordination of the project tender process, including contractor evaluations, tender analysis, and client advisories on contractor selection.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation both digitally and in hard copy, in accordance with established quality management systems.
  • Lead post-completion evaluations, gathering client and end-user feedback to inform lessons learned and continuous improvement in future projects.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • RIBA Part III or international equivalent
  • 5+ Years’ post registration experience in the delivery of high-profile projects (preferably including international projects), demonstrating to coordinate large, complex projects within challenging timescales.
  • Sound knowledge of (UK) building codes, standards and practices (with appreciation of international standards regarded as beneficial).
