Whichever team you're working with, you'll lead using Agile frameworks, remove any barriers and utilise key metrics and insights to help us make good decisions and delivery better outcomes.

Our Agile Delivery Managers enable high-performing digital teams to create, build, innovate and deliver. We create psychologically safe spaces where digital experts can be at their best.


It's a complex landscape and you'll need your skills as a persuasive and engaging communicator, and your experience of delivering and solving cross-cutting problems to get the job done.


You'll make sure they have what they need to deliver the best services. You'll identify blockers, and find the best way round through, and over.


You will get the best out of experts in software engineering, process design, user research and user experience design, as well as policy development.



Developing a World-Class Practice.


Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. We lead a cross-government community which meets once a month to share ideas and discuss emerging trends.


New joiners and long-time members of our community love how much support is available, and the degree of collaboration in DWP.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs, whichever is most convenient for you. We have 2 roles in Manchester or Newcastle, and 3 roles based in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.


Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.


Pay: We offer competitive pay up to £75,748.


Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.


Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.


You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
