Rate: Up to £185 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:



As a Primary School Teacher in Sheffield, you will play a vital role in nurturing students’ academic and personal growth. You’ll work alongside a team of committed educators to deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a positive and encouraging school environment



Key Responsibilities:



Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum

Support pupils’ academic progress and emotional well-being

Provide tailored instruction through one-on-one and small group sessions

Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed

Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to education

Foster a classroom culture where every child feels safe, respected, and motivated to learn

Use varied teaching methods to inspire and challenge students

Maintain accurate records of student development and communicate effectively with stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Applications from trainee or early career teachers are welcome

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to building positive relationships within the school community

A nurturing and empathetic approach to teaching

Relevant educational qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)

The right to work in the UK

An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years

An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check
