About The Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking & highly driven individual to develop and implement impactful AI-specific solutions across the business. In this role, you will take ownership of evaluating & prioritising operational problems or inefficiencies, conceptualising effective solutions and delivering them from start to finish, ensuring long-term usability and measurable value. You will also have a strong focus on enabling adoption of your work through practical, accessible training. Upskilling those individuals and teams across the organisation.

You will play a key part in transforming how the business operates. Driving direct increase in operating profit and positioning us as a thought leader in AI. This is an ideal role for someone who has a great working knowledge of AI and is looking to apply those skills within a global, but also mission-led company. The successful candidate should be able to operate autonomously and with minimal supervision while simultaneously thriving in a collaborative team environment. They will possess a proven ability to resolve complex challenges, achieve significant outcomes, and cultivate innovation to the benefit of others.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Identification and Strategic Innovation

Analyse problems or inefficiencies presented by stakeholders and determine the most effective and appropriate solution. Balance feasibility, impact and long-term value, and provide a clear, reasoned course of action aligned with both business objectives and user needs.

End-to-End AI Project Delivery

Manage AI solutions from scoping through to implementation. Engage stakeholders throughout, build scalable systems or tools, test iteratively and measure real-world outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.

Training and Enablement for Internal AI Tools

Produce clear documentation, onboarding resources and training sessions to ensure teams can confidently adopt and use the AI tools you develop. Ensure each solution is easy to maintain and hand over.

AI Literacy Across the Business

Develop and deliver training materials, sessions and guidance to support wider understanding and responsible use of AI across the organisation. Promote an open and accessible approach to AI innovation for all teams.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Strong problem-solving ability with a strategic mindset and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-starter who keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in AI.
  • Proven ability to build and deploy AI-powered solutions that deliver value. Ideally including web applications.
  • Solid understanding of AI technologies and tools, including:
    • Large Language Models
    • Agentic systems
    • Automation platforms (such as Zapier, Make, N8n)
    • Version control (such as GitHub).
    • Application Programming Interfaces.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation that translates complex technical information into clear and concise instructions and descriptions. This includes crafting user manuals, technical guides, and project documentation that are easily accessible to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Confident working with feedback and data to evaluate impact and refine approaches.
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and prioritising projects for maximum value.
  • Comfortable in creating AI and automation solutions that require the use of APIs.
Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Proficiency in Python and/or other computer languages.
  • Familiarity with open and close-sourced AI frameworks for RAG and Deep Research.
